Strength training
& corrective exercise
Corrective exercise isn’t just about “fixing” your form or posture. It’s about retraining your body to move the way it was designed to. From helping someone return to sport after a setback or supporting patients who want to move more efficiently in daily life, Dr. Yousef combines evidence-based strategies with traditional approaches to restore function and enhance performance.

once you move better,
the goal is to stay better
what to expect
Step 1: Postural and movement assessment
We start by understanding your unique movement patterns. Dr. Yousef will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of static posture and dynamic movement patterns that will identify muscle imbalances, compensations, and postural habits that may be holding you back.
Step 2: Functional assessment
Next, we evaluate how your body performs in real-life movement — how you squat, lunge, push, pull, and stabilize. This tells us where the root of dysfunction lies. Dr. Yousef will look for any contributing factors to pain, dysfunction, or performance limitations.
Step 3: Corrective strategy development
Dr. Yousef will design a personalized exercise plan to help you restore optimal movement patterns. The exercise plan could include mobility drills, self-myofascial release, targeted stretching, activation techniques for under-active muscles, and progressive strengthening.
Step 4: Re-assessment and progression
Progress isn’t linear. Dr. Yousef will provide continued supervision and education to help you reinforce long-term correction and injury prevention. Follow-ups will help track your progress, adjusting the exercise program, and introducing more advanced movements as your biomechanics improve.
